Position Summary

We’re seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist who is dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about advancing patient health. Whether you’re an experienced pharmacist or a new graduate eager to grow, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

You’ll play a key role in managing patient therapies, supporting LTC operations, administering immunizations, and helping expand our clinical service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify, dispense, and counsel on prescription medications with accuracy and clinical expertise.
• Provide injections to patients, including long-acting injectable antipsychotics, hormonal therapies, and vitamin treatments.
• Administer immunizations and educate patients on preventive health.
• Support MedSync and Dispill packaging programs for LTC and assisted living facilities.
• Collaborate with providers on prior authorizations, MTM, and specialty medication management.
• Utilize PioneerRx Pharmacy Software to streamline workflows and document clinical interventions.
• Maintain compliance with California Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and CMS regulations.

Qualifications

• Active California Pharmacist License (Required)
• Immunization Certification (Required)
• Experience with PioneerRx (Preferred)
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and patient communication abilities
• Open to new graduates and experienced pharmacists

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $60–$75 per hour, depending on experience
• Schedule: Monday–Friday and rotating Saturdays
• Position Type: Per Diem / On Call
• No benefits for per diem positions
