Performance Marketing Specialist (Google Ads Expert)

Job Summary

We need a Google Ads Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in managing mid-to-large scale budgets. You should be an expert in Search, Display, and Performance Max campaigns, with a deep understanding of how to generate high-quality leads for service-based businesses.

Advanced Key Responsibilities

  • Full Funnel Campaign Setup: Designing and executing Search, Display, Remarketing, and Performance Max (PMax) campaigns.
  • Conversion Tracking Mastery: Setting up and troubleshooting Google Tag Manager (GTM), GA4 Conversion events, and Enhanced Conversions.
  • Lead Quality Optimization: Implementing negative keyword strategies and "Search Themes" to filter out junk leads and focus on high-ticket clients (e.g., Remodeling/Construction).
  • A/B Testing: Constantly testing Responsive Search Ads (RSA), ad extensions (Assets), and landing page copy to improve CTR and Quality Score.
  • Bidding Strategies: Hands-on experience with Smart Bidding (Target CPA, Target ROAS) vs. Manual bidding based on campaign goals.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Providing detailed weekly/monthly reports using Looker Studio or Google Analytics 4 to show clear ROI/ROAS.
  • Competitor Analysis: Using tools like SEMrush/SpyFu to monitor competitor moves and adjust bidding strategies accordingly.

Technical Requirements & Skills

  • Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in Google Ads (Agency experience is a huge plus).
  • Certifications: Google Ads Search & Display certifications (Preferred).
  • Advanced Tracking: Solid understanding of Server-Side Tracking and Lead-to-Sale journey tracking.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven track record in the Home Improvement, HVAC, or Service-Based sectors.
  • Budget Management: Ability to manage monthly spends of $5,000 to $20,000+ effectively.
  • Copywriting: Ability to write high-converting, "click-worthy" ad copies that stand out in a crowded market.
