Pay: $15/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM

FAME Performing Arts is looking for passionate, high-energy Camp Counselors who love theatre, music, dance, and working with kids!

Our summer camps are all about creativity, confidence, and bringing stories to life. From acting games to choreography to mini showcases, you’ll help campers step into the spotlight while building friendships and life skills along the way. Each week is a different musical theatre theme!

What You’ll Do (but not limited to)

• Lead and hype up daily acting, music, and movement activities
• Help campers rehearse and perform in end-of-week showcases
• Create a fun, supportive, and inclusive cast environment
• Encourage confidence, creativity, and teamwork
• Keep the energy high and the day running smoothly
• Join and supervise weekly field trips

What We’re Looking For

• A love for performing arts (theatre, dance, music—you name it!)
• Experience with kids (camp, teaching, babysitting, etc.) preferred
• Energetic, positive, and ready to lead with classroom management with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Comfortable driving a 15-passenger van for field trips
• Able to commit to Monday-Friday 8:45am-4:00pm.
• Passion for working with children and a commitment to creating a positive camp experience rooted in fun, safety, and personal growth!
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified

Important Scheduling Info

• Camp staff schedules are based on weekly enrollment
• Hours are not guaranteed each week
• Counselors may be scheduled weekly or placed on-call to cover absences
