Perm - Physician - Hospitalist

We are seeking a full-time Hospitalist (MD or DO) to join a well-supported inpatient team. This is a rewarding opportunity to practice in a community-focused setting with a manageable patient load and excellent sub-specialty support.

Shift(s) Description: 7 on / 7 off, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekend Requirements: Weekends included in 7 on / 7 off schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
On Call Requirements: No on-call responsibilities

Job Description:
As a Hospitalist, your responsibilities will include:

• Provide inpatient care in a 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM – 7 PM)

• Make daily rounds on assigned patients (average 12–15 per physician)

• Admit patients and manage rapid responses/codes

• Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU setting with 24/7 consultation available

• Conduct patient assessments, histories, physicals, and documentation using Paragon EMR

• Coordinate with attending physicians, specialists, and hospital staff to ensure high-quality care

• Participate in a hospitalist team managing 40–50 patients per day collectively

• No on-call duties

• Work in a non-trauma designated hospital with strong infrastructure

• BE accepted if a new graduate

• Must be Board Certified within 2 years of contract start

• Not accepting Locums candidates

• Not accepting Visa Candidates

• 1099 candidates NOT accepted

Requirements:

• Truly Board Eligible (within 1 year of eligibility and must be Board Certified within 2 years) or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine – [REQUIRED]

• Medical license or willingness to obtain – [REQUIRED]

• Clean malpractice and license history – [REQUIRED]

• DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications – [REQUIRED]

• Does provider require visa support? - [REQUIRED]

• Must be open to full-time, 7 on/7 off schedule - [REQUIRED]

• Must be comfortable working in an open ICU with intensivist support - [REQUIRED]
