Hiring: *Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator*

Project Location: Ras Laffan

Reports To: HSE Manager / Project Manager

*Job Summary*

The PTW Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and efficient implementation of the QatarEnergy Permit to Work (PTW) system. The role ensures all high-risk work is properly authorized, controlled, and completed safely while acting as the central point of coordination for permit activities on site.

*Key Responsibilities*

*PTW Process Management*

Receive, review, authorize, and issue permits (Hot Work, Cold Work, Confined Space, Excavation, etc.) in line with QE procedures.

*Field Verification*

Conduct pre-job site inspections to verify required controls, isolations, and safety measures before permit approval.

*Coordination & Communication*

Act as liaison between area authority, performing authority, and site teams for permit-related matters.

*Compliance & Audits*

Ensure full compliance with QE PTW standards.

Perform daily audits of active permits and work sites.

*Record Keeping*

Maintain accurate records of issued, active, suspended, and closed permits.

*Training & Guidance*

Provide guidance to personnel on proper use of the QE PTW system.

*Qualifications & Experience*

*Experience*

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a PTW Coordinator within Qatar.

Mandatory Project Exposure

Experience on QatarEnergy projects in Ras Laffan, Dukhan, or Mesaieed.

*Certifications*

Recognized PTW Coordinator training certificate (required).

NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely (preferred).

QE-specific certification is an added advantage.

Ability to work under pressure and make safety-critical decisions
