Flex Companion / Personal Care Assistant

Schedule: Flex (mornings and evenings)
Salary: $17-$20/hr

What You'll Do

Provide overnight and evening support to help clients feel safe, comfortable, and connected. Responsibilities include:

• Companionship, conversation, games, reading, emotional support
• Medication reminders
• Meal prep & light housekeeping
• Laundry, light gardening, organizing mail
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and outings
• Pet care and comfort
• Ensuring client safety at home and on outings
• Following written care plans & reporting changes
• Completing flow sheets, timesheets, and documentation
• Coordinating with the Delegating Nurse, scheduler, and care team
• Using the ClearCare app to clock in/out
• Maintaining confidentiality and client rights
• Attending training, staff meetings & supporting colleague development

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of experience supporting older adults (preferred)
• Current CNA/GNA certification through the Maryland Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work in homes with pets
• Strong communication, reliability, and compassion
• Comfort working independently during evening & overnight hours
