House Manager / Personal Assistant (In-Home)
Minneapolis, MN
Part-Time (25–30 hrs/week, potential to grow full-time)
$25–$40/hour (based on experience)
About the Role
This is not a typical housekeeping job.
We’re looking for a proactive, high-trust House Manager / Personal Assistant who can take full ownership of a private home’s daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who naturally creates order, anticipates needs, and enjoys taking care of people and their environment.
You’ll support a high-performing entrepreneur and her partner by ensuring their home runs smoothly, efficiently, and calmly—without needing constant direction.
What You’ll Do
You will take ownership of the home’s day-to-day flow, including:
Household Management
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall home readiness
- Laundry, linens, tidying, and supply restocking
- Manage pantry, household inventory, and basic home systems
Meal Prep & Kitchen Organization
- Weekly meal prep and ingredient preparation
- Keep fridge and kitchen clean, organized, and functional
- Ensure healthy, ready-to-eat options are always available
Errands & Logistics
- Grocery shopping, returns, pickups, and supply runs
- Anticipate needs and restock before items run out
- Coordinate with vendors or maintenance when needed
Pet Care
- Daily dog walking and basic pet care
Guest & Airbnb Turnovers
- Prepare home for guests and gatherings
- Handle Airbnb turnovers (cleaning, restocking, setup) independently
Occasional Support
- Assist with event preparation (supplies, errands, setup support)
- Help with travel prep and light personal tasks
What We’re Looking For
We’re hiring for mindset and ownership, not just experience.
You’re a great fit if you:
- Take initiative and don’t wait to be told what to do
- Naturally notice what needs to be done and handle it
- Enjoy cooking, prepping meals, and organizing spaces
- Take pride in creating a calm, well-run home
- Are highly reliable, discreet, and trustworthy
- Communicate clearly and proactively
- Thrive in environments where no two days are exactly the same
What Success Looks Like
- The home is consistently clean, stocked, and organized
- Meals are prepped ahead and the kitchen runs smoothly
- Errands are completed without follow-ups
- Guests and events are handled seamlessly
- The household runs effortlessly without micromanagement
Schedule
- 25–30 hours per week (daytime, flexible)
- Occasional evenings or weekends (with notice)
- Opportunity to grow into a larger role over time
Compensation & Benefits
- $25–$40/hour depending on experience
- W2 employee position
- Long-term opportunity with growth potential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
