Job Summary
We are seeking a Somali Speaking Part-Time Personal Assistant to support an executive who manages multiple responsibilities. The successful candidate will be required to work both in-office and off-site, undertaking a variety of tasks that may include running errands, attending meetings, and other duties away from the office. The role will also involve building and maintaining administrative systems, as well as handling a variety of personal tasks on behalf of the executive.

Duties

  • Manage scheduling, personal and work-related appointments, and communications for the executive
  • Support daily operations across all locations.
  • Build, implement, and maintain administrative systems and processes tailored to the executive
  • Organize files, manage data entry tasks, and oversee filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of information.
  • Assist with record-keeping to help manage payroll.
  • Coordinate with staff, vendors, clients, and partners across all locations.
  • Handle correspondence in both English and Somali.

Requirements

  • Fluent in spoken Somali and English — required
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace applications, and familiarity with DocuSign for electronic signatures.
  • Strong typing skills combined with transcription and proofreading abilities for accurate document preparation.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating high levels of professionalism.
  • Reliable personal transportation — travel between multiple locations within Minneapolis is required

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
