Personal Assistant for an Amazing Young Man

Full-Time | Salaried | Goodyear, Arizona

We are seeking a strong, dependable, and compassionate male personal assistant for our 24-year-old son, Jaden, who has a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and uses a wheelchair. Jaden is healthy, motivated, and working hard every day to regain his independence — he just needs the right teammate by his side.

This is a full-time, salaried position with real room for growth. The right person will be more than a caregiver. He will be a motivator, a partner, and a friend.

Please read carefully: This is a fast-paced, high-energy, busy job. It is not for lazy people and it is not for slackers. Jaden lives a full, active life and is on the move all day — we need a teammate who can match that pace, take initiative, and bring energy of his own.

Meet Jaden

Jaden is an upbeat 24-year-old who is working hard every day to regain his independence. He's humorous, kind, and very respectful — the kind of guy people genuinely enjoy being around.

He likes to stay active throughout his day, eats very healthy, and is currently training for a bodybuilding competition. He's family-oriented, social, and loves coffee, sushi, and video games.

Jaden thrives around positive, encouraging people who treat him with respect and help him stay focused on his goals.

What You'll Do

• Assist Jaden with eating, toileting, showering, and dressing
• Safely transfer Jaden between his wheelchair, bed, vehicle, and other chairs
• Drive Jaden to medical appointments and outings
• Support his healthy lifestyle, meal routine, and bodybuilding training
• Assist with at-home physical and occupational therapy exercises, stretches, and recovery routines
• Accompany Jaden to the gym, set up equipment, and safely spot him through his workouts and bodybuilding training
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks that align with Jaden’s nutrition and bodybuilding plan
• Help with light housekeeping in Jaden’s space and run errands such as groceries and pharmacy pickups
• Encourage and motivate him through his daily routine and recovery goals
• Be a positive, active presence in his daily life

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Full-time, weekdays. Occasional weekends or overnights when the family travels.

Position type: Salaried (not hourly).

Salary: $60,000/year, with room for advancement in pay.

Start date: Immediately / ASAP.

Required Qualifications

• Physically strong male, able to safely lift and transfer an adult
• Experience with wheelchair transfers
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Non-smoker
• Able to pass a background check
