We’re looking for a reliable personal assistant to help with day-to-day operations and keep the school running smoothly.

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable personal assistant to support the school owner with administrative tasks, scheduling, errands, communication, and small projects. This role is perfect for someone who likes variety and can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily school operations
• Schedule appointments and tours
• Respond to messages, emails, and customer inquiries
• Help with social media tasks (posting, basic content help, reminders)
• Run local errands (supplies, post office, picking up items, etc.)
• Organize files, paperwork, and student documents
• Coordinate communication with students as needed
• Assist with events (barber competitions, open houses, school activities)
• Keep classrooms and workspaces organized and presentable
• Support marketing tasks when needed
• Track simple tasks and follow up on deadlines
• Any other day-to-day tasks to help the owner stay organized

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills
• Professional and positive attitude
• Highly reliable and punctual
• Comfortable using phones, Gmail, social media, and basic apps
• Able to multitask and stay organized
• Must be comfortable working in a barbershop/barber school environment
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally

Preferred (not required)

• Experience in admin, customer service, or personal assistant roles
• Familiarity with barbershops, schools, or salons
• Basic social media / content skills
