Personal Assistant & Social Media Coordinator for Recording Artist

Recording artist and producer "Dutch Melrose" is looking for a sharp, charismatic, and highly organized personal assistant and social media coordinator to help manage daily communication, organization, and social media flow for the business.

You’ll help keep on top of day to day tasks, social media marketing, and collaborators. You'll handle outreach and follow-ups, and assist with social media and fan account management.
This role is perfect for someone who’s naturally great with people, understands online culture, and thrives in fast-moving, creative environments.

What You’ll Do

• Keep marketing and creative teams accountable with updates, deliverables, and follow-ups
• Send check-ins and coordination emails
• Communicate with editors, designers, and collaborators to keep things flowing smoothly
• Help on site with creative video shoots, photoshoots, and creative tasks
• Help shoot BTS for studio sessions, video shoots, travel shoots etc.
• Help manage fan/social pages (posting, organizing, engagement, basic coordination)
• Spot trends and moments for reposts or UGC
• Handle occasional local errands (drop-offs, pickups, gear runs)
• Keep a light weekly tracker of what’s pending and who’s responsible

Who You Are

• Based in Los Angeles and have reliable transportation
• Extremely social-media-savvy — understands TikTok, IG, online culture, and how creators think. Think "gen z" level witty / saviness online. Comfortable running pages and managing marketing campaigns that do millions of views.
• Great with people — confident, charismatic, and professional under pressure
• Organized, responsive, and reliable — can manage multiple moving parts without micromanagement
• Strong written communication — can write natural, confident messages and emails
• Prior experience in music, entertainment, marketing, production, or creative coordination

• Hours: ~30–35 hours/week, flexible Mon–Fri schedule
• Start Date: ASAP
• Employment Type: Independent Contractor (biweekly invoices)
