Personal Assistant to Wellness Leader

A prominent health and wellness thought leader is looking for a Personal Assistant to be the steady, behind-the-scenes force that keeps his home and personal life running seamlessly. In this role, you'll work in close partnership with the Executive Assistant to provide fully integrated support — translating his busy schedule of podcasts, appearances, and travel into a perfectly prepared home and life. You'll manage vendors, keep the household stocked and organized, ensure the right bag is in the right car at the right time, and build the systems and documentation that make everything run smoothly. Someone high-touch who takes pride in the details, thinks five steps ahead and naturally anticipates needs, and can keep a dynamic principal on track. This is an in-person role based in the Principal's home in Santa Barbara/Montecito with occasional after-hours and weekend flexibility as needed. 120-150K+ DOE + full benefits.


Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the on-site point person at the home, maintaining the household's day-to-day flow.
  • Manage household vendors, including scheduling, coordinating, and following up on all service providers.
  • Monitor and restock household supplies, supplements, and prescriptions.
  • Maintain light tidiness throughout the day; regular housekeepers are on rotation, but this person keeps shared spaces presentable between cleans
  • Keep two vehicles ready at all times and load the appropriate bag and items for outings.
  • Run personal errands such as dry cleaning, grocery shopping, pharmacy runs, and occasional personal shopping.
  • Care for and feed chickens on the property.
  • Prepare everything needed for each day, including podcast days, appearance days, and travel days, ensuring each has its own checklist and setup.
  • Prepare the Principal for trips and events. Packing for trips using maintained packing checklists, anticipating what's needed, and being prepared. Assist with ironing and organizing the wardrobe for appearances and events.
  • Work in close coordination with the Executive Assistant, who manages the Principal's calendar and professional schedule, translating commitments into physical preparation at home.
  • Coordinate transportation logistics to the airport and home.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive house manual to record how systems work, where things are, and how guests and family members can navigate the home independently.
  • Create clear SOPs for all recurring tasks to keep things running smoothly. Proactively build redundancy into all systems.


Qualifications:


  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant and Personal Assistant, with an understanding of both roles, for effective collaboration.
  • Experience supporting a high-profile or dynamic Principal is preferred.
  • Highly organized and process-oriented. Systems-oriented with a strong ability to maintain structures.
  • Proactive and anticipatory, thinking steps ahead.
  • Ability to collaborate and work hand-in-hand with the Executive Assistant.
  • Holistic, nurturing approach to support and ensure the Principal stays on track.
  • Tech-savvy with experience creating SOPs and processes.
