Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately
• Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to promote healthy living
• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to safely transfer residents or patients
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of living spaces
• Document care activities, update care plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams about patient progress

Skills

• Proven experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care environments
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
• Certified in CPR and First Aid; familiarity with HIPAA compliance for patient privacy
• Strong patient observation skills to monitor vital signs and detect changes in condition promptly
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts
• Experience working in group homes or nursing homes is highly desirable
• Compassionate communication skills to provide emotional support and build trusting relationships with clients

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
