Personal Care Assistant - Day Shift

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide exceptional support and care to elderly residents in our home-like, assisted living environment. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities of living, ensuring their safety and well-being, and fostering a respectful, empowering atmosphere. Ideal candidates are genuinely caring, proactive, attentive to detail, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve. Paid training provided to eligible candidates.

Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care strategies
• Operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to ensure safe transfers and mobility
• Document observations, care provided, and any incidents accurately
• Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment for all residents
