Personal Executive Assistant to UHNW Principal
An ultra-high-net-worth principal is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant.
This is a strong fit for someone who is exceptionally sharp, highly organized, intensely service-minded, and thrives in a demanding, fast-moving environment. This is not a traditional 9-to-5 role. The person in this seat must have a genuine 24/7 mindset and be fully comfortable with a role that requires responsiveness outside standard business hours.
Compensation & Benefits- $150,000 to $275,000 base salary commensurate with experience, bonus, PTO and paid benefits
Hours: This is a true 24/7 mentality position - schedule can change across time zones, etc. so always need to be on. The assistant must be comfortable responding to urgent calls, texts, and requests during evenings, weekends, and outside traditional work hours.
Location: New York City Office with hybrid/remote flexibility
What the role involves
-Managing a heavy, constantly shifting Outlook calendar with business meetings, global private travel, appointments, events, and family logistics
-Handling polished written communication and correspondence on the principal’s behalf
-Joining calls and meetings as needed, tracking follow-up items, and ensuring execution
-Coordinating complex domestic and international travel, both private and commercial, with full door-to-door logistics
-Creating detailed itineraries and ensuring all travel details, preferences, and on-the-ground arrangements are handled seamlessly
-Managing restaurant reservations, activities, and recommendations
-Supporting personal and family needs including appointments, gifting, events, and lifestyle logistics
-Liaising with household and property-related staff, vendors, and other key people in the principal’s orbit
Ideal background
-5+ years of PA experience supporting an ultra-high-net-worth individual, principal, founder, or senior executive
-This role requires someone who is highly flexible, deeply committed, and genuinely comfortable being “on” when needed
-Experience in a high-stakes, high-expectation environment with many moving parts
-Proven ability to stay in demanding roles long term and build trust over time
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
-Deep discretion, polish, and emotional intelligence
-Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
-Strong knowledge of New York City, especially dining, experiences, and lifestyle support
-Type A / perfectionist mindset
-Low ego, flexible, and willing to handle anything from complex planning to day-to-day personal tasks
