Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of personal injury law and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills. This role involves assisting attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases, from initial client consultations through trial preparation. The successful candidate will be proficient in legal research, drafting documents, and managing case files effectively.

Duties

• Assist attorneys with the preparation of legal documents related to personal injury cases, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
• Draft correspondence and maintain communication with clients, witnesses, and experts.
• Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials by compiling evidence and creating trial binders.
• Perform tasks related to litigation processes, including filing documents with the court and tracking deadlines.
• Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy and provide insights based on research findings.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with legal standards.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Attorney or in a similar role within a law office environment.
• Familiarity with various areas of law including personal injury law, family law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, environmental law, estate planning, securities law, workers' compensation law, patent law, tribal law & regulations.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in legal drafting and administrative tasks related to case management.
• Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
