Personal Injury Attorney - Admitted in New Jersey

Plaintiff's personal injury law firms located in Garden City, NYC, and Brooklyn, New York seeking an experienced attorney with prior New Jersey PI experience. Must have at least five years experience.

Fluency in Spanish, Russian, or Creole a plus.

Candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey
• Prior NJ PI experience
• Able to draft legal documents including, but not limited to: bills of particulars, pleadings, discovery, general correspondence, motions and appellate briefs;
• Able to perform under pressure;
• Have strong interpersonal and organizational skills; and
• Preferred knowledge of computer applications and ability to adapt on case management systems.
• Proficient in legal research, particularly in personal injury law, family law, environmental law, and securities law.
• Strong legal administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and concise legal documents.
• Familiarity with law office procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence to clients and opposing counsel.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information for case development.
• Manage deadlines for filing documents and responding to inquiries from clients and courts.
• Utilize legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case strategies.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm to ensure comprehensive case management.
