Personal Injury Case Manager

<Job Overview>
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will oversee the management of personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring efficient handling of client needs, case documentation, and legal procedures. Your proactive approach will help facilitate smooth communication between clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies. <Responsibilities>

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury claims, including initial client intake, case evaluation, and ongoing case development
  • Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and clients to gather necessary documentation and updates
  • Prepare and review legal documents such as demand letters, settlement agreements, and pleadings with precision and attention to detail
  • Conduct thorough legal research on relevant statutes, case law, and regulations impacting personal injury claims
  • Utilize legal case management systems and document management tools to organize files efficiently
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including evidence review and witness coordination
  • Maintain clear communication with clients regarding case status, next steps, and legal advice

<Experience>

  • Paralegal experience or similar legal administrative experience in a law office environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and organization
  • Familiarity with personal injury law procedures and terminology is highly preferred
  • Experience using legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis for case analysis
  • Proficiency in legal document drafting, proofreading, transcription, and filing procedures
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration
