Personal Injury Lawyer

Our firm is growing, and we’re looking for an empathic, experienced personal injury attorney to help our clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. You’ll handle the case file from start to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals. You should have excellent credentials, a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation along with trial case experience, and an authentic passion for helping people. $150,000 yearly BOE

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of personal injury paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary
• Serve as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, and litigation
• Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate
• Modify, review, and draft demand letters, pleadings, claims, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
• Oversee personal injury case files from beginning to end

Qualifications:

• Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired
• Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory
• Computer proficiency is essential
• Requires a bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree
• Three years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in wrongful death, medical malpractice, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is a necessity
