Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Position: Civil Litigation Paralegal
Location: Houston, TX 77066
Work Arrangement: Onsite Only
Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000 annually

We’re looking for a skilled Civil Litigation Paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take ownership of case management from file to trial. This role is ideal for someone with strong litigation experience who can balance legal drafting, trial preparation, and client communication while supporting firm operations.

What You’ll Do

Litigation & Case Support

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery documents in state and federal courts.
• Maintain litigation calendars and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Manage e-filing processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare trial binders, organize exhibits, and coordinate witnesses and clients.
• Handle a high-volume docket while keeping cases on track.

Firm & Operations Support

• Act as the point of contact between attorneys and support staff for smooth workflows.
• Assist with developing and refining SOPs to improve efficiency.
• Address office needs with problem-solving and proactive solutions.

Client Engagement

• Provide clear, consistent updates to clients throughout litigation.
• Build professional relationships rooted in responsiveness and trust.

Administrative Support

• Assist with general administrative duties.
• Offer strategic feedback to improve client services and firm operations.

Who You Are

• Experience: 5–10 years in a legal setting with at least 5 years in civil litigation (plaintiff-side preferred).
• Trial Knowledge: Strong background in trial preparation, motion drafting, and case management.
• Education: Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred; candidates with 10+ years of litigation experience will also be considered.
• Extra Value: Prior leadership, office management, or project management experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Mac systems, and legal software such as MyCase, Slack, and Zoom.

What We Offer

• Annual salary of $70,000 – $75,000, depending on experience.
