Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring smooth case management and effective communication with clients, attorneys, and external parties. Duties

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury litigation, including case intake, investigation, and discovery processes
  • Prepare and organize legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity
  • Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies
  • Manage case files efficiently using document management systems like MyCase
  • Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather pertinent information for case development
  • Review medical records, accident reports, and other evidence to build strong case files
  • Coordinate depositions, court filings, and scheduling to keep cases moving forward seamlessly
  • Create medical summaries

Requirements

  • Proven paralegal experience in personal injury law or related litigation fields such as workers' compensation
  • Strong knowledge of legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis
  • Familiarity with legal case management software
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills for interviewing clients and drafting clear legal documents
  • Experience with document review, proofreading, transcription, and contract preparation
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and clerical support efficiently
  • Knowledge of relevant laws involving personal injury practices
