Liakas Law, P.C. is currently seeking a full-time Trial Paralegal to join their firm in the Financial District. We are a family-owned Plaintiff PI Firm who’s hard-working and determined to provide quality service to all our clients.

· Our office is open Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm. In-office position

Our Trial Paralegal will:

• Review entire discovery and supplement new information/records during trial by drafting supplemental exchanges
• Draft necessary supplemental trial exchanges and medical exchanges
• Review client medical records and ensure all records are up to date and on our case management software
• Prepare trial binders whilst annexing relevant exhibits in a chronological order.
• Contact physicians and other experts to request trial availability
• Request MRI’s CDs from radiological facilities as may be necessary for trial needs.
• Prepare cases for trial; draft trial authorizations, 3120/3122, subpoenas, 3101d(expert disclosures) and 4532a. ( May be required to draft other trial documents such as Notice of Intent etc.)
• Provide case updates to client/attorneys when requested or as deemed necessary.
• Schedule clients for necessary follow -up medical visits/appts and obtain requisite reports.
• Draft correspondence letters to third parties as may be necessary to provide background to a legal request or resolve issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $77,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
