The Executive – Supply Chain Management is responsible for procurement, vendor coordination, logistics planning, and inventory control. The role requires strong discipline in following MD Sir’s instructions and ensuring internal reports are submitted accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Direct Reporting & Instruction Compliance
- Report directly to the Managing Director (MD).
- Follow up strictly on all instructions given by MD Sir and ensure timely execution.
- Maintain clear communication and provide regular status updates to MD Sir.
- Ensure all internal reports, documents, and updates are submitted to MD Sir on time without delay.
2. Procurement & Vendor Management
- Source materials and negotiate with vendors for cost-efficient procurement.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up for timely delivery.
- Maintain supplier database and evaluate vendor performance.
- Coordinate purchase approvals and payment processing.
3. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
- Monitor stock levels and ensure required materials are available.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for GRN, stock updates, and dispatches.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile differences.
4. Logistics & Distribution
- Arrange inbound/outbound logistics and track shipment movements.
- Coordinate with transporters for timely delivery.
- Maintain and track transportation cost records.
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain proper records for procurement, logistics, and stock.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports accurately.
- Ensure all internal documents are submitted to MD Sir within deadlines.
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with production, finance, warehouse, and QA teams.
- Support planning based on demand and production schedules.
- Handle escalations and ensure smooth operations.
Skills & Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related field.
Experience:
- 1–4 years in supply chain, logistics, or procurement.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of SCM processes
- MS Excel, ERP/SAP proficiency
- Good communication & negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Detail-oriented & disciplined in reporting
