Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, detail orientated, and talented individual for the position of Personnel Security Specialist.
Job Description:
Personnel Security Specialist assists in determining the fitness and eligibility of individuals for entry and retention in sensitive and non-sensitive positions.
Essential Duties Responsibilities:

Assist in administering security education awareness training programs. Access and safeguards classified or sensitive information in an appropriate manner to preclude unauthorized disclosure or compromise, complying with established security policies, directives, regulations and instructions

Assist in reviewing and revising security documents to ensure they include the appropriate security classifications and language.

Provides updates and posts them to the SharePoint portal.

Perform in and out processing of all assigned and attached personnel, completes and files various security forms and execution of SF 312-Classified Information Non-disclosure Agreement, clearance verifications, issues applicable access badges and submits base access requests, initial security education/indoctrination.

Respond to daily telephonic, email and personal requests for customer assistance, clarification, guidance, coordination, status checks, resolution of problem areas, or review of documents to ensure compliance with all service's PERSEC policies, regulations, and instructions.

Assist in screening requests for security clearances and verifies that all necessary forms and documentation have been completed before processing personnel security investigations (PSI).

Acknowledges requests received to determine validity for accesses indicated. Aides in identifying the sensitivity of positions, clearance level, and special access required to perform duties and assist in the issuance of Permanent, temporary, and visitor access badges

Abide by DODM 5200.01 Vol 3, DOD Regulation 5200.2-R, Personnel Security Program and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
Requirement:

Minimum one (1) to three (3) years experience, but desired three (3) to five (5) years experience in Personnel Security.

Desired Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or Criminal Justice

Current TS/SCI
Skills:
-
Knowledge and practical experience with DISS, NBIS, Sharepoint, and all associated duties/tasks to meet PERSEC and Trusted Workforce program requirements.

Written and oral communication skills commensurate with position.

Ability to demonstrate and apply highly technical knowledge in solving complex problems and applies law, regulation, policy, and procedures to the personnel security program.
