Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Train, coach, and supervise technicians, conducting performance evaluations and mentoring new hires.
- Operational Management: Schedule daily routes, assign jobs, and ensure all work orders are completed efficiently using industry software.
- Quality & Safety Control: Inspect work sites, enforce OSHA safety protocols, and ensure proper, legal pesticide application.
- Client Relations: Address customer complaints, provide technical expertise, and build relationships.
- Inventory & Equipment: Track inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure tools and vehicles are maintained.
- Reporting: Document service activities, track pest activity trends, and report to management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Extensive experience as a pest control technician is required, often with prior supervisory or team-lead experience.
- Licensing: Must possess valid state-required pest control licenses or certifications.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques, safety regulations, and pesticide application methods.
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
