Pest Control Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection: Conduct thorough interior/exterior inspections to locate and identify pests (insects, rodents, wildlife).
• Treatment: Apply insecticides, rodenticides, and herbicides according to safety regulations.
• Exclusion/Maintenance: Seal cracks, holes, and entry points to prevent future infestations.
• Customer Support: Advise clients on pest prevention techniques and service options.
• Record Keeping: Complete detailed reports for each job, including chemicals used and services rendered. Betterteam +5

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Licensing: Often requires state-specific licenses or certifications for pesticide application.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work in tight, dirty, or elevated spaces and carry equipment.
• Customer Service: Strong communication skills for interacting with clients.
• Safety Awareness: Strict adherence to safety protocols when handling hazardous materials.
• Driving: A valid driver's license is typically required to travel to job sites.
