Location: Austin, Texas and Surrounding Area

Position Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday (Saturdays as needed)

Compensation: Starting at $20/ hr. Then commission after first month.

Key Responsibilities:

A Pest Control Service Technician is responsible for providing pest remediation and prevention solutions to commercial or residential structures. Duties include, without limitation:

• Manage a pest control route day to day operations.
• Conduct thorough interior and exterior inspections for pests.
• Communicate effective solutions for customer needs. One-time to continual maintenance.
• Provide estimates timely.
• Apply pesticides according to schedule, Safety procedures and label instructions.
• Safe and efficient setting and removal of rodent traps, wasp, hornet, and bees’ nests.
• Maintain inventory of pesticides, and all supplies needed to perform daily duties.
• Continually build your knowledge of pest control inspection processes, procedures, and methods.
• Respond to routine customer questions and concerns promptly.
• Assist with generating new sales leads.
• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.
• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.
• Any other Pest Control Technician duties assigned by Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong Communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.
• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Pest Control experience preferred but not required.
