Job Title: Pest Control Technician

Department: Facilities Management / Operations & Maintenance

Job Purpose:
To perform pest control services, including inspection, prevention, and treatment of pests, insects, and rodents within client facilities, ensuring a safe, healthy, and pest-free environment while complying with company standards, contract requirements, and health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out scheduled pest control treatments and inspections at assigned sites.
• Identify pest infestations and determine appropriate control measures.
• Apply approved pesticides, chemicals, and treatment methods in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Install, monitor, and maintain pest monitoring devices, traps, and bait stations.
• Maintain and operate pest control equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Complete service reports, inspection records, and treatment documentation accurately.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide recommendations on pest prevention measures.
• Report pest activity trends, site risks, and any operational issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and materials in good condition.
• Support the achievement of service quality standards and contract KPIs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or training in Pest Control is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in pest control, facilities management, or a related field.
• Valid driving license is preferred.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of pest identification, prevention, and treatment methods.
• Understanding of pesticide handling and safety procedures.
• Ability to prepare reports and maintain service records.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in field environments.
• Basic knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Reporting To:
Pest Control Supervisor / Facilities Operations Supervisor

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Completion of scheduled service visits.
• Compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Quality of pest control services delivered.
• Customer satisfaction levels.
• Timely completion of reports and documentation.
• Effective use of materials and pest control resources.

Pay: ﷼1,500.00 - ﷼2,000.00 per month

• Diploma (Required)

• 100% (Preferred)
