Pet Care Provider & Overnight Sitter

Job Summary
Paws & Claws Pet Care is looking for a reliable and experienced pet care professional to join our growing team! There is potential for a future management role as we expand.

Duties

• Walk and care for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels
• Provide pet sitting visits & overnight care for dogs, cats, and small animals
• Follow specific client instructions for pet care, feeding, and medication administration if needed
• Cover for other team members when needed due to call-outs
• Maintain and update client records and profiles

Requirements

• Pet care experience is required, preferably experience working in a dog daycare, boarding facility, dog training, or professional dog walking & pet sitting field
• Reliable and punctual – pets and their owners depend on you!
• A reliable vehicle to travel between client locations
• Open availability, mainly Monday-Friday, with flexible hours based on client needs
• Available on weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working independently and in various weather conditions
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for animals and a patient, caring approach

Compensation

• Around 50% commission per visit/walk
• Hourly pay for overnights (8-hour shifts where you sleep in the clients home for personalized pet care!)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
