Duties

• Provide attentive pet care, including feeding, administering medication, and monitoring health status
• Assist with dog training sessions to promote good behavior and socialization skills
• Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff
• Offer pet sitting services by caring for animals in their owners’ absence, ensuring a stress-free experience
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards and prevent illness

Experience

• Prior experience working with animals in kennels, or pet sitting environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of dog training methods and animal handling techniques is preferred
• Familiarity with pet grooming tools and techniques is a plus
• Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for animal transport or equipment handling
• Background in animal restraint, veterinary assisting, or animal care roles demonstrates your readiness for this dynamic position
