Pet Lover Wanted – Midday Coverage (Rye, New Castle, Portsmouth)

Little Bay Pet Services is hiring a Pet Sitter for Midday Coverage to join our trusted team serving Rye, New Castle, Portsmouth, and surrounding areas within a 5-mile radius. We've been in the peace-of-mind business for over 17 years, and we need someone energetic and reliable to keep our furry friends happy during the day!

What You'll Do

• Visit clients' homes for midday vacation pet visits and dog walks
• Walk dogs, feed, refresh water bowls, and deliver some TLC
• Administer medications (oral, transdermal, injections—experience appreciated!)
• Monitor pet health and behavior between morning and evening visits
• Water plants, collect mail, and keep an eye on home security
• Send quick updates and photos via our mobile app to keep pet parents connected
• Cover midday vacation pet visits, and midday dog walking

Schedule & Availability

• Part-time, consistent 10 AM – 4 PM availability required
• Weekends 10 AM – 4 PM are necessary – we can rotate schedules to avoid 7-day work weeks if you also cover weekday shifts
• School vacation weeks and holiday coverage required (our busiest seasons!)

Location Requirements

• Must live in or on the border of Rye, New Castle, or Portsmouth, NH
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required
• Comfortable driving and walking in all weather conditions

Skills & Qualities

• Genuine love for animals (personal or professional experience)
• Ability to walk and manage dogs up to 120 lbs
• Understanding of pet behavior and safety protocols
• Calm, confident, and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently
• Detail-oriented and trustworthy
