Pet Sitter

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Sitter/Dog Walker to join our team. As a pet sitter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our furry clients while providing peace of mind to their owners. This position requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional care.

Duties

• Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding walking routes, feeding schedules, and any special needs or concerns.
• Monitor the behavior and health of pets during visits, reporting any issues to pet owners promptly.
• Maintain a positive relationship with both pets and their owners through effective communication and customer service.
• Ensure that all dogs are leashed securely and safely during walks.
• Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and socialization.
• Clean up after dogs during walks to maintain cleanliness in the community.
• Provide additional services as needed, such as bringing in the mail and giving pets medication.

Skills

• Strong animal handling skills with experience in dog handling preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners.
• Experience in kennel environments or equine care is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills to manage schedules effectively and respond to client needs promptly.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care is essential for success in this role.
