Hoofs and Woofs Premium Pet Care – Hiring Pet & Farm Care Assistant

Marion County / Ocala Area

Hoofs and Woofs Premium Pet Care is currently looking for a reliable, experienced animal care assistant to join our team. We provide high-quality care for both small and large animals including dogs, cats, and horses.

This position involves pet sitting, farm visits, and occasional overnight stays at clients’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for dogs, cats, and horses
• Dog walking and supervised outdoor time
• Cleaning litter boxes and maintaining pet areas
• Feeding animals and refreshing water
• Cleaning horse stalls
• Dumping and refilling water troughs
• Basic barn chores (blowing barn aisles, tidying tack areas)
• Administering medications if needed
• Sending updates/photos to clients
• Overnight pet sitting when required
• Maintaining a clean and professional presence in clients’ homes

Requirements

• Previous animal care experience required
• Experience with horses or farm animals strongly preferred
• Veterinary clinic, barn, kennel, or pet sitting experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Comfortable working independently
• Responsible, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (feed bags, water buckets, etc.)
• Must be comfortable entering clients’ homes and farms

Flexible scheduling available including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and occasional overnight stays.
