Responsibilities

• Provide attentive pet sitting services for dogs, cats, and other small or large animals, ensuring their daily needs are met with kindness and professionalism
• Administer pet medications or veterinary treatments as directed by pet owners or veterinary professionals
• Engage pets in stimulating activities such as walks, playtime, and training exercises to promote mental and physical health
• Monitor pet behavior and health, recognizing signs of distress or illness, and communicate any concerns promptly to owners or veterinary staff
• Maintain a safe environment by properly handling animals using animal restraint techniques when necessary
• Perform basic grooming tasks including brushing, bathing, or cleaning to keep pets comfortable and hygienic
• Keep detailed records of pet care activities, feeding schedules, medication administration, and any notable observations

Qualifications

• Prior experience with animal handling, pet sitting, or working in veterinary clinics is highly desirable
• Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures enhances your ability to provide comprehensive care
• Experience with veterinary technician or assistant roles is a plus for understanding medical needs of animals
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely for pet transport or equipment setup; physical stamina is essential
• Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their concerns confidently
• Familiarity with animal restraint methods and pet grooming practices ensures safe handling and well-groomed pets
• Previous kennel experience or equine experience is beneficial for working with diverse animal species

Pay: $173.46 - $208.90 per day
