Duties

• Provide pet sitting services that include feeding, walking, administering medication, and offering companionship to pets of various sizes and temperaments
• Possibly perform dog bathing and drying
• Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques during grooming and care procedures
• Monitor pets’ health and behavior, reporting any concerns or abnormalities to supervisors or veterinary professionals when necessary
• Engage with pet owners professionally if called for
• Overnight care
• Working independently

Qualifications

• Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care is highly preferred
• Familiarity with animal restraint methods is desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling large animals or equipment
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
• Strong animal handling skills combined with patience, compassion, and attention to detail
