Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for dogs and cats, including feeding, administering medications, and maintaining hygiene
• Engage pets with playtime, exercise, and companionship to promote mental and physical well-being
• Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns or unusual symptoms promptly
• Maintain clean and safe environments by cleaning cages, bedding, and common areas regularly
• Follow specific care instructions provided by pet owners to ensure personalized attention

Requirements

• Prior experience in pet sitting or animal handling preferred; veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus
• Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is highly desirable
• Ability to handle multiple animals of different sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting pets or supplies)
• Demonstrated animal care skills including restraint techniques and administering medications
• Customer service mindset with a genuine love for animals and dedication to their well-being
