Pet Sitter/Dog Walker

Animal experience is a requirement along with reliable transportation, a cleaning driving record, and a valid drivers license!

The hours and days are flexible and can easily change from week to week. We hope to find the perfect match, someone who wants to be a part of a team as we create our pet care empire together!

Ideally, you should be looking for extra part-time income, pass a background check, and be available for last minute requests. This job has opportunities including walking dogs, backyard let outs, cat care, transportation to and from vet/groomer, and much more (days and hours are flexible). *Willing to work around changing school schedules!

Responsibilities:
- Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring they get the exercise they need
- Provide basic obedience training during walks
- Monitor the behavior and health of dogs, reporting any concerns to the owner or supervisor
- Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly
- Ensure the safety of dogs at all times, using appropriate restraints and equipment as needed
- Follow specific instructions provided by dog owners regarding feeding, medication, or special care
- Maintain accurate records of each walk, including distance, duration, and any notable observations

Experience:
- Previous experience working with animals, particularly dogs, is preferred
- Knowledge of basic dog behavior and training techniques is a plus
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments with confidence and care
- Familiarity with pet grooming practices is beneficial
- Experience in customer service is desirable, as you will be interacting with dog owners on a regular basis

Skills:
- Strong animal handling skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to schedules
- Attention to detail in order to provide proper care for each dog
- Physical stamina to walk multiple dogs for extended periods of time
