Oak Grove Pet Sitting and Dog Walking, LLC is an award-winning pet care company serving the Decatur community. We provide professional dog walking, cat care, and in-home pet sitting services between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM in the following zip codes:

We are currently hiring Part-Time Dog Walkers / Pet Sitters who are dependable, compassionate, and passionate about animal care.

This position is ideal for animal lovers who enjoy working independently, staying active, and spending time outdoors.

Applicants must live in or very near the service area.

Pay & Perks

• $22 – $26 per hour average earnings
• W-2 Employee position (not independent contractor)

Note: This is a part-time supplemental income position.

What You'll Do

• Walk dogs in local neighborhoods (20–60 minute walks)
• Visit cats and small pets in clients’ homes
• Refresh food and water
• Scoop litter boxes
• Provide playtime, attention, and companionship
• Send visit updates and photos to clients through our mobile app
• Occasionally provide overnight pet sitting

You’ll be welcomed by wagging tails, happy barks, and plenty of kitty purrs!

Basic Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Live in or near our service area (30033, 30345, 30329, 30084)
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Smartphone with camera and GPS capability
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to work independently and manage time well
• Available to work some holidays
• Comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments

Preferred Experience

(Not required, but a plus)

• Pet sitting
• Dog walking
• Animal shelter volunteer work
• Veterinary clinic experience
• Dog daycare or kennel experience
• Dog training
