Pet Sitting Team Member (available overnights)

THE ROLE
Overnight pet+house sitters provide in client home care from approx 530pm-830am, or dinner through breakfast. Care can include dog walks, feeding, medication admin, indoor and outdoor plant watering, mail and package retrieval, etc. Day time care is scheduled in addition to overnight services, as each home has different needs during the daytime. These roles are best suited for folks who have flex PT schedules, grad students, remote workers and retirees.

This is a contractor (1099) position based in Bend, Oregon. Sitters earn 81-85% of rates charged clients, dependent on experience and certifications. Eligible for raises over time based upon performance.

Our focus right now, however, is recruiting sitters with overnight (including weekend and holiday) availability.

Qualifications

• Pet+house sitting experience with pet owner references
• Commitment to fear free + force free pet care
• Demonstration of values in alignment with our inclusive community focus
• Ability to work independently but represent part of a larger team
• Expected to be a team player and pitch in with marketing efforts and events when possible
• Compassionate client service + strong communication skills
• Use of personal cell phone and laptop for team + client communications
• Valid driver’s license and a car in good condition with current vehicle insurance (OR license preferred)
• willing to wear masks indoors at client request
