Petroleum Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Petroleum Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our Development Services team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in drilling operations and drilling applications, with the ability to support software quality and functionality from a domain perspective.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the quality and performance of software applications.
• Provide domain expertise to guide developers in aligning software with industry standards.
• Develop detailed test plans and strategies based on project requirements and objectives.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and maintain quality standards.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum & Gas Engineering (or related field).
• In-depth knowledge of drilling operations, processes, and best practices.
• Familiarity with drilling planning, design, and execution.
• Hands-on experience with drilling software, particularly EDT-Drilling Suite (Landmark).

Experience.

• Minimum: 2 years of relevant experience
• Preferred: 3-4 years
