My Client is an international Service Company who are based in Kuwait. Due to expansion, my client is searching a Petroleum Planning and Economics Consultant for a 3-4 month Contract.
The Consultant will be based in Kuwait working in the KOC offices.
The Petroleum Planning & Economics Consultant will be required to have experience in:

Upstream asset lifecycle evaluation, portfolio strategy and capital efficiency optimisation.

Reserve economics, including PRMS reserves classification integrating into economic models and value optimisation of contingent resources through investment decisions

Building advanced economic models from exploration to abandonment using methods like Monte Carlo simulation

Calculations of critical risk-adjusted metrics including eNPV, EMV, risked asset value
Development Planning

Economic screening of development concepts
-
Well count optimization
-
Facility options analysis
-
Development phasing strategies
-
Techno-economic analysis of EOR/IOR projects
Prospect Economics

Prospect risking (chance of success)

Volumetric uncertainty modelling

Portfolio optimization
Essential Skills:
Reservoir to Economics

Translating reservoir simulations and decline curves into economic forecasts
Performance Analysis

Developing capital efficiency and post-audit project reviews
Cost Integration

Incorporating drilling/completion cost trends, LOE forecasts, and tariffs
Portfolio Strategy

Strategic portfolio balancing between exploration and development opportunities, and between short-cycle and long-term investments

Optimizing capital allocation under various constraints including rig availability, capital limitations

Economics Platforms - ARIES, Quorum, PHDWin
Portfolio Optimization - Spotfire, Power BI, Palantir Foundry
