Petrophysicist

My client is a large international consultancy who specialise in E & P projects globally. Due to expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Senior Petrophysicist-Rock Physicist to be based in Kuwait.

The requirements for this role would involve working on data quality, permeability and water saturation modelling and calibration, thin bedded layers and low resistivity pays. This is a contracted position for a duration of 9 months. The Client will provide accommodation in Kuwait and transport is available to and from work.

The Petrophysicist will be required to have experience in:

Triassic Palaeozoic

Reservoir and non-reservoir characteristics

Reviewing Laboratory Cores tests

Root cause analysis of measurements recorded

Responsibilities

Determining water saturation

Saturation & modelling analysis

Well log interpretations of the reservoir

Petrophysical review and conditioning of well data
