PGT Biology Teacher

A PGT Biology Teacher plans and delivers engaging lessons for senior secondary students (Classes 8 - 12), focusing on advanced concepts, conducting lab experiments, preparing for board exams (like CBSE), fostering scientific curiosity, managing classrooms, and mentoring students for higher education in science, requiring a Master's in Biology and a B.Ed.. Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction & Curriculum: Develop and deliver detailed lesson plans for advanced biology topics (genetics, ecology, physiology) following board guidelines, using diverse methods for conceptual clarity.
• Laboratory Management: Organize and supervise practical sessions, ensuring student safety and proper conduct during experiments.
• Assessment & Evaluation: Create and grade assignments, tests, and practical evaluations; track student progress and prepare them for board exams.
• Student Mentorship: Provide career guidance for science-related fields, encourage critical thinking, and build rapport for discussing sensitive topics.
• Classroom & School Duties: Maintain discipline, manage attendance, communicate with parents, and participate in departmental meetings and professional development.
• Curriculum Development: Suggest improvements, create teaching aids, and stay updated on new biological research and technology.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master's Degree in Biology or related field.
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent certification.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for science.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage complex topics and motivate students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹37,108.90 - ₹45,634.20 per month
