A PGT Chemistry Teacher's job involves delivering advanced chemistry lessons (Physical, Organic, Inorganic) to senior secondary students, designing curriculum aligned with boards (like CBSE), conducting safe lab experiments, assessing performance, mentoring for exams (JEE/NEET), managing records, and collaborating with faculty to foster scientific understanding and inquiry. Key duties include lesson planning, practical demonstrations, maintaining lab discipline, tracking student progress, and encouraging critical thinking for higher education. Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching & Curriculum: Develop and execute engaging lesson plans for Physical, Inorganic, and Organic Chemistry, adhering to board syllabi (CBSE/ICSE).
  • Laboratory Management: Supervise and conduct experiments, ensuring lab safety, managing supplies, and teaching practical skills.
  • Assessment & Evaluation: Create and grade assignments, tests, and exams; provide constructive feedback to gauge student understanding and progress.
  • Student Support: Mentor students, provide guidance for competitive exams (JEE/NEET), and foster a positive, interactive learning environment.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and report on academic performance.
  • Collaboration: Work with other educators and departments to enhance the overall science program and curriculum.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on new educational trends and advancements in chemistry.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Master's Degree in Chemistry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject matter expertise in all branches of Chemistry.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to apply scientific principles to real-life situations.
  • Passion for science education and student development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,830.60 - ₹45,479.85 per month
