- Teach Commerce subjects including Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and related areas to senior secondary students.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in line with the curriculum and school guidelines.
- Use innovative teaching methods, including case studies, projects, and practical examples, to enhance understanding.
- Design and conduct assessments, tests, and examinations.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records and submit reports as required.
- Mentor and guide students in academic and career-related matters.
- Identify learning gaps and provide extra support or remedial guidance where necessary.
- Encourage participation in commerce-related activities, competitions, and seminars.
- Attend faculty meetings, training sessions, and workshops as required.
- Collaborate with other teachers to enhance cross-disciplinary learning.
- Stay updated with developments in the field of commerce education.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Coordinate with parents, staff, and management regarding student progress and school activities.
- Participate in school events, co-curricular programs, and extracurricular activities as needed.
