About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced PGT Commercial Arts Teacher who can inspire creativity, artistic expression, and professional design skills among Senior Secondary students. The ideal candidate will have strong subject expertise, a modern teaching approach, and the ability to integrate practical, skill-based learning in alignment with CBSE curriculum expectations.

This position is open to candidates who are available to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Commercial Arts / Applied Arts to Classes XI & XII in accordance with CBSE guidelines.
• Design engaging lesson plans that encourage creativity, conceptual understanding, and hands-on learning.
• Guide students in:
• Illustration, composition, and design concepts
• Visual communication and layout design
• Still life, poster design, and applied art techniques
• Prepare students for:
• Board examinations
• Art portfolios and exhibitions
• Inter-school competitions and creative projects
• Maintain student records, assessments, and progress reports.
• Use digital tools and computer applications for teaching, assignments, and documentation.
• Collaborate with academic teams to support curriculum planning and school initiatives.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Commercial Arts / Applied Arts (mandatory)
• B.Ed. (mandatory)
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at Senior Secondary level
• Experience in CBSE curriculum preferred
• Strong command of English and excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in computers, digital tools, and MS Office
