PGT Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Teach assigned subject(s) to Classes XI and XII as per the prescribed syllabus
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments
• Deliver engaging and interactive classroom instruction
• Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and exams
• Prepare students for board and competitive examinations
• Maintain academic records, attendance, and progress reports
• Participate in curriculum planning and academic meetings
• Support co-curricular and school activities
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment

Subject-Specific Focus

• English: Language skills, literature analysis, writing, and communication
• Mathematics: Conceptual clarity, problem-solving, and application skills
• Chemistry: Theory, practical experiments, lab safety, and numerical skills
• Political Science: Political theory, Indian Constitution, and current affairs
• History: Historical analysis, timelines, and source-based learning

Required Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree (MA/MSc/M.Com) in the relevant subject
• B.Ed degree (mandatory)
• Strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Teaching experience at senior secondary level
• Familiarity with CBSE / ICSE / State Board syllabus
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to integrate technology in teaching
