Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced PGT English teacher to join our institution in Islampur, West Bengal. The candidate will be responsible for teaching English at the senior secondary level, enhancing students’ language proficiency, literature appreciation, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English to Classes XI and XII as per CBSE/ISC/State Board curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans covering literature, grammar, writing, and communication skills.
• Assess students through tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams.
• Encourage critical thinking, reading, and creative writing.
• Use innovative and digital teaching methodologies.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Participate in academic planning, meetings, and school events.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.
• Maintain academic records and reports.

Eligibility Criteria

• M.A./M.Sc. in English from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience as PGT English.
• Excellent command over spoken and written English.
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
