Job Title: PGT English Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and passionate PGT English Teacher to teach senior secondary classes (Grades XI & XII). The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage students in literature, language, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English Language & Literature for Classes XI & XII
• Plan and deliver effective, engaging lesson plans
• Prepare students for board examinations and assessments
• Design and evaluate assignments, tests, and projects
• Use innovative teaching methods and ICT tools in the classroom
• Maintain student academic records and progress reports
• Participate in curriculum planning, meetings, and training programs
• Guide students in reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in English (M.A. English)
• B.Ed. (mandatory as per school norms)
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Strong knowledge of CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum
• Ability to inspire and mentor senior secondary students
• Proficiency in digital teaching tools and smart classrooms

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience as a PGT English Teacher
• Experience teaching Classes XI & XII preferred
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply (as per school policy)

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience in CBSE board examination evaluation
• Exposure to NEP 2020 guidelines
• Participation in school clubs, debates, or literary activities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
