Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in English to teach students of Classes 8 to 10. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire students in language, literature, and creative expression.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English Language and Literature to Grades 8–10 following the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/State/ICSE).
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials.
• Improve students’ reading, writing, grammar, and speaking skills.
• Conduct interactive classroom sessions including debates, storytelling, and presentations.
• Prepare students for board examinations and school assessments.
• Evaluate assignments, projects, and exams and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain student records, progress reports, and attendance.
• Encourage creative writing, public speaking, and critical thinking.
• Use digital tools and smart boards for effective teaching.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications Required

• Postgraduate degree in English (MA English)
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience (preferred)
• Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply

Skills Required

• Excellent spoken and written English
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to explain concepts in a simple and engaging manner
• Knowledge of grammar, literature, and writing techniques
• Basic knowledge of technology in education (PowerPoint, smart boards, online tools)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Work Details

• Position: Full-time
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Salary Range

• Starting from 40k
